    Angry HELP!! how do i get Zinc out of carpet???

    AAARGH.

    After thinking my toddler was being anangel playing quietly in his room, I discovered him, his toys and the carpet are all COVERED in Zinc and caster cream


    Can someone help me get it out of the carpet? I don't want to makeit worse

    I found this on Google...

    To remove zinc oxide from your carpet, first scrape off as much of the zinc
    oxide as possible with a dull knife. Then, sprinkle powder (baking powder,
    talcum powder, cornstarch, etc.) on the spot, give it time to absorb the
    grease, then vacuum. Repeat as necessary. You should be able to remove
    whatever stain remains on your carpet by washing with a solution of warm
    water and a liquid dishwashing detergent designed for cutting grease.
