Default Baby chiropractor in Perth - recommendations?

    Hi all

My 3 week old baby is displaying symptoms of colic, fussing during a feed and going all red in the face and screaming for an hour or so after. She also wakes herself up with crying and squirming which seems to be wind related. None of us are getting much sleep and I hate to see her getting so distressed and in pain.

I have been trying the Brauer drops and now on the 3rd day they do seem to be helping a bit. But I have been told chiropractors can do wonders as well. However, I want one that has experience with babies and isn't going to do anything too invasive.

Can anyone recommend someone they have used in Perth??

    Thanks in advance.

I don't have any personal experience, sorry (my DH uses a chiro and swears by him, but I didn't want my bub going to a chiro until she is older)

But I was thinking, have you spoken to your CHN or GP? They might have a recommendation of someone in your area. Or what about calling Ngala? Their helpline is usually pretty good.

    Cheers

Hi there. We have taken our little girl to the chiro since Day One (literally). I have heard lots of stories by other members on here where they have said the chiro has helped with only one or two appts.

The one we see is in Qld on the Sunshine Coast. They are absolutely fantastic and so helpful. My suggestion (and I have done this with other friends who don't live in the area) is to call them and they will hopefully be able to refer you to someone in your area. They have a book of places that uses the same technique.

If you want their name and number just let me know and I will PM you. But they truly are very helpful - even over the phone.

Good luck. Must be such a hard time for you all. Hope you get some peace soon.
Hello - you'll find me if I want you to.

Thanks for the replies. I have asked my CHN Kel but she doesn't know of anyone, said it was worth a try but had no recommendation. Mum2one - if you can PM your chiro's details I will definitely give them a call, at least for some advice and if they know anyone here that would be even better.

    Thanks again.
