Default Warning: Gastro virus doing the rounds in Sydney again!

    Hi girls

Just wanted to warn you all that the gastro bug is doing the rounds big time again in Sydney. We spent 7 hrs at Westmead Childrens Hospital yesterday (5hrs of that was waiting to see a doctor) and every baby and child in the waiting area had the same thing, they nearly ran out of vomit bags and there was line ups waiting at the change room as napppies kept on getting filled.

Bubs is a little better this morning so hubby and I are hoping to avoid the bug (know its prob not likely).

Just wanted to warn you all as there were so many newborns in there on IV drips as they were so dehyrated

Thanks Nomes keep those gorgeous boys away from the Towers hehehe

I forgot to add that poor hubbys first fathers day was spent in the ER ward with our bubba and we will be reminding him of that when he gets older, also I feel so bad as its hubbys birthday today and I have been so focused on getting bubba better I yelled happy birthday out quickly as he was walking out the door to work feel so bad. Might make him a cake for tonight.

Yep, Lily was admitted last weekend with it. It was heart wrenching seeing her so lethargic. They couldn't even find her veins in order to give her a blood test, she was so weak, Thankfully, we escaped it (touch wood), apart from that seedy feeling.

my DH got it a few weeks ago (Melb) and was a very sick boy for well over a week. (nothing worse than a sick fully grown man is there!)

I absolutely swear by Aquim hand cleaner (almost pure alcohol) - kills everything and I use it religiously. Didn't get sick!

Tanya - I use that too! Love it. Similar to the stuff we use in the hospital...
