    Jods14 - Morphology Scan - 20th Feb
    Miss_C - Morph Scan - 24th Feb

    Cancer - June 21st - July 22nd

A Cancer child can be independent from a young age, often playing alone for hours and inventing invisible playmates. Cancer babies are fascinated by colors and pictures, and they love the different tastes of delicious foods and drinks.

Cancer children need to be hugged and loved and they thrive when encouraged. A Cancer baby will change moods frequently and will withdraw themselves if they suffer any kind of rejection. Young Cancer children are quite capable of using tears to get what they want and Cancer babies have a reputation for crying a lot.

However, Cancerians are delightful and fascinating children whose changing moods are shown on their faces. They are imaginative and will thrive when given a lot of warmth and attention. Your Cancer child will be easy to manage and discipline and will be well-mannered. Most Cancerians prefer to be the leader rather than to follow.

Ruling Planet is the Moon, Cancer's Colour is Silver and their starstone is a pearl

    Leo - July 23rd - August 22nd

Leo children are sunny, friendly personalities who love to be the centre of attention. They love parties and seem to have endless energy. Your young Leo will be more often on the move than still and will love playing games and joining in physical activities. A Leo child will be adventurous and can sometimes be reckless. Leos love parties and will be generous with possessions.

You will soon notice that your Leo baby will like to be waited on and Leo children dislike doing menial tasks. Leo girls may go through a tom-boy phase as they are happiest when doing something physical.

Leos need freedom in which to grow and experiment. Emotionally they can be turbulent and dramatic. A Leo child is trusting and needs plenty of love. Lies can be hurtful, even if they are flattering ones. There is a danger that Leos may become boastful and parents will need to watch for this from an early age. Young Leos should be encouraged to help around the home from an early age to ensure that they do not grow into little tyrants.

Ruling planet is The Sun, Colour is Gold and their starstone is a ruby

    Chinese Year of The Dragon

People born in the Year of the Dragon are healthy, energetic, excitable, short-tempered, and stubborn. They are also honest, sensitive, brave, and they inspire confidence and trust. Dragon people are the most eccentric of any in the eastern zodiac. They neither borrow money nor make flowery speeches, but they tend to be soft-hearted which sometimes gives others an advantage over them. They are compatible with Rats, Snakes, Monkeys, and Roosters.

    Thanks for the new thread!

I've been away for a couple of weeks but all is still going well i hope! I have my nuchal scan on Thursday so hoping all is well and that little heart is beating away on the screen...

Don't have my first ob visit til the 1st Feb so looking forward to that also.

Hope all is well with everyone and those little tummies are starting to pop out (mine definitely is - tho it could be more to do with my holiday eating than anything else )

    Take care everyone

Busy day today making appointments! Session with the physios booked for the 6th of Feb. Midwife clinic appointment booked for the 8th of Feb. 20 week scan booked for the 20th of Feb. Birthing and parenting classes booked to begin on the 2nd of May through to the 13th of June. 36 week Ob appointment booked too. Worked out where I need to go for each appointment, so I don't get confused and lost on the day! The hospital is like a maze and it doesn't take much to disorientate me and stress me out since coming off my meds. Oh well, good to know what I'm like and be able to prepare for it.
Control freak I know, but now I can just sit back and wait for things to happen instead of worrying about what I need to do next and what I need to find money for.
Just waiting now for the social worker and the Perinatal Emotional Help Program person to contact me and I think that's the whole team in place.
I cant believe how fast time is flying. My belly is looking like someone has shoved a cushion up my jumper, but it's still not very big, but it's enough to remind me of what I was like when I was 15kg heavier and I've only put on about 2.5kg so far with lots more to go! How much is everyone else showing?
And how have you been going with the stretching pains? I know I'm getting more than just stretching pain because it doesn't go away and I'm having trouble peeing, pooing and sometimes walking, but I also know that there is a lot of scar tissue in my pelvic area and I suspect that this it the cause of the extra pain. It's the same kind of pain I get leading up to and during the first few days of my period, surprise, surprise...not, when you consider the hormones that are flying around our bodies now. Hopefully the physio will be able to help out with that, because I suspect it's only going to get worse as Bubs gets bigger. Oh well.

    Jods x
