Always quiet in here on a weekend

Splinter - My FS used the ICSI method for me too. I am not sure of how they differ but I ended up with 13 of 16 fertilised (that was with bad eggs and bad swimmers ) so I was happy! Good luck with your decision!

Not long till the EPU kayjay - very exciting!

I have been super busy with the new kin dies starting at school and my own daughter staring too. I came home early (12:30) yesterday with severe cramps and a back ache that was almost making me cry. I am hoping that it was just shear exhaustion and nothing sinister. I did a HPT tonight just to check I was still pregnant The positive line came up before the test line so hoping that everything is still ok. Blood test on Monday morning will hopefully confirm that my hormone levels are rising this time.

Hope everyone is going well with injections and triggers etc!

Nope - this is normal - but try having the antibacterial swab ready in one hand as you pull the needle out with the other hand and whack it straight onto the site and apply some pressure for a minute. That's what I've been doing with the orgalutran anyway!


Xoxoxo - I've heard it's normal to have those types of cramps and pains in early pregnancy.... Make sure you're looking after yourself and getting enough rest.

Sweet Princess - all the best for the week ahead - hopefully 5 is enough - only need one to work!
AFM - EPU was fine, not as tired as last time, but a little uncomfortable afterwards. Back for transfer tomorrow and actually get my fs for the first time - so it is positive. 5 follicles as expected - just hoping that all had eggs and fertilized- at least would like some back ups so don't have to go through the EPU for a while! Can't get in with the acupuncturist tomorrow but will go on Tuesday for a relaxation session and she said it will help relax the uterus and encourage implantation -Aghhhh - yes please!!!
Look forward to sharing the outcome tomorrow and hearing everyone's news this week.

I get what you mean I hate that there are so many of us who are still trying. I just noticed in your ticker your loss. I am so so sorry Splinter.

BBM - thank you. It was so early that I didn't mourn the loss of the actual baby, but rather the 'what could have been' if that makes sense. I have 5 good mates that are pregnant now, and I would have been about 2 - 6 weeks ahead of all of them, so it's hard to forget when I'm constantly reminded of what stage of the pregnancy I would be at now etc. So you are still trying naturally at the moment? xx

Abelle - how did ET go today?? Did you put 1 or 2 back in? How many eggs did you end up with? Keeping everything crossed for you!

Kayjay - Good luck today with EPU - can't wait to hear how it all went! Thinking of you!

SP - How did you scan on Saturday go? When is your next one? And how are you going with the Cetrotide?

I had my scan this morning and I have 11 follies between 11-15mm across both ovaries. Plus a few smaller ones we didn't measure. I'm triggering Wednesday night, EPU Friday morning, ET next Monday morning. So it's a few days later than I was expecting (based on my last 4 purgeon cycles) but I have a good range of follies all around the same growth, which is perfect.

I'm a bit sore in the abdomen now, but I know it's only going to get worse this week! I am so excited for Friday, I just wish it were now!
