anyone planning on studying nursing or midwifery next year?
Hi, i thought i would start a sort of chat for anyone hoping to be studying nursing or midwifery next year?
Next Monday (6th August) i will be putting my application in to study a bachelor of nursing hopefully with UNISA. Il be starting Part time externally and hoping to change to FT if i am coping with the studies + having 3 kids under 5..
I have done every bit of research i can do before applying and im getting a little impatient for next monday to get here! So i thought i would see if there is anyone else who is hoping to be studying too who i can get excited with and not feel silly lol.me 24 -M - 22/10/2008Z - 18/06/2011

Mum2mj, although I am not studying nursing I thought I would pop along and say hi.
You are choosing such a wonderful career. I am a nurse and absolutely love my job to pieces ( at the moment I am on maternity leave). It is so varied, reward but at times heart breaking. But overall it is such an amazing job. I too have thought about changing in to midwifery after I had my little girl ( my boss would kill me for saying that lol). I suppose I am driven to make the experience better for someone else as overall my hospital experience was pretty ordinary! best of luck with your studying!!
