Mediums, Spirits etc...

Has anyone had any experiences with spirits, mediums or anything like them that they would like to share?

Ive had a reading with Debbie malone she is a medium and dose some stuff for thats life magazine.

She was amazing, spoke to my dad and said things no one else wouldve known unless you were in teh room at the time. She also spoke to my great Aunty- was very funny, steves dad and brother and funny she kinda started to 'act' or 'talk' the way I imagined they would.

Id definately recommend and do it again

Thanks Meegan, I currently have a lady whos a medium and is via email and so far she is so spot on with everything its amazing(also free so I know shes not just some bogus one). I have never met this lady or spoken to her before and not given any details other than my name.... but its got me so intrigued I am thinking of finding one I can meet IRL....

I did a seance when I was in about Year 6, no idea why but we 'called up' a NZ woman called Minnie Dean who was a murderer. Anyway, weird stuff happened, we did it in the girls toilets at school and a girl put her hand up in front of the mirror and it was like someone was gripping it really tightly - you could see the indents there, but couldn't see the actual hand.
Anyway, walking home from the bus that afternoon I was terrified, made the boy next door walk me to my door and that night I felt that there were evil spirits in my room. I couldn't sleep and went out to Mum and Dad, told them what had happened at school and they prayed with me (obviously a Christian family lol).

The next day, everyone who had done it was coming to school with weird stories. I've never messed with it again. Personally, while I believe people can communicate with the dead, and I believe that spirits exist - both good and evil. I don't believe it's the type of thing that should be messed with.I understand that people like to hold on to people who've passed away - but I just think its quite dangerous. And that it's not our place to disturb.

Obviously just my own opinions and feelings, and noone else has to agree. But I can't even begin to explain the terror that I felt that night.

yes i believe.

recently a medium has contacted my dads partner with 2 urgent messages from my "dad" turns out those messages were legit and there is know way she could have known that sort of info without my dad being apart of it.
also clues were given for my dads case. and dads partner has followed it up and so far its true!!!

many other things were said that there is no possible way this lady could have known. the fact that she felt compelled to find dads partner was amazing. she said shes never felt the need to do this but she needed to get these messages to him.

also she explained how she gets these readings, she doesnt actually have the dead talk to her. its something to do with her energy and there energy and her hearing the persons thoughts. rather than spoken words. also she was apparently very exhausted after the session.

i will be seeing her soon.

i find it comforting and healing!!

i think having someone speak to a loved one thats passed and summoning a a random person are very different things. i dont think theres any danger in reading for a passed loved one. but certaining doing what you did would be very dangerous, especially if this person killed others.

i think there is a whole other after life world and its good to be able to communicate somehow. but also i would hate to be a medium, i wouldnt like that sort of contact personally.

also ill add, another person that my dads partner knew tried to push in on the reading with my dad. and this lady had no idea what my dads partner did for work or anything...and she said things about a professor that use to teach *** who had passed on!!

I'm finding it is comforting. I was very sceptical to start with but theres so many things this lady has said that she couldnt have known.... and even a message to pass on to my relatives family which is very relevant and hopefully will help them heal a little.





PebbleM I was always worried about these types of things and bad effects they could have and thought the same as you but I now believe mediums are given the powers/energies to do this to help the relative etc....

I used to work with a lady who was a medium. She did a reading off a peice of my jewellery (she took it home and recorded the session). Almost everything she said was true. Things about my thoughts and feelings that I had never told anyone. She described my Great Nana prefectly (I had never met her or even spoken about her). She hinted on my 'naughty habits' which nobody knew about etc etc


Certainly made me believe. I haven't had a reading since though and have lost contact with this lady.

Some good points Rox...
Personally...I'm still uncomfortable with them. But that's mainly due to my religious perspective, which I'm fully aware defines a lot of things for me.
I suppose all that aside though, there's just something that makes me feel unsettled about it, and I can't even watch the ads on tv for "Medium", "Ghost Whisperer" or that John Edwards guy etc etc....

I had a reading done by Mystic Tricia, and from memory it was due to the recommendation of someone here on Births!

It was about 2 years ago now, and I had to email her a photo of myself and then ask her 5 questions. I tried to keep them pretty generic whilst still obtaining the answers I was looking for - IYKWIM, so that he could not read into my questions, anything about me.

She was amazing!

I got back a long email that was all about my husband and his property development, as well as myself and my career and also my personality. But more importantly she gave me some info about future children, as we had TTC #3 for about 2 years with no success before I got her reading. Her response was that she saw me with 2 little girls in my life (I already had a DD and DS). At the time I was so downhearted I took it to refer to my little niece who I am close to, and left it at that that.

Fast forward another 18 months and I am pg with #3. I have not found out the sex, but in my heart of hearts I suspect it will be a little girl - stay tuned til Jan, she might be right!
