Naming Day jewellery gift for a girl
Hi Ladies
Hubby & I have been asked to be the 'godparents' of a friends Darling little girl.
We would really like to get her something lovely, along the lines of a piece of jewellery or something very special. I have been thinking perhaps something gold or i have also come across a few different 'beaded' naming day / christening bracelets that can also be personalised. (Not too sure if we would go down the path or having her name on the bracelet if getting a beaded one as 'Maddison' would take up alot of space on a baby sized bracelet.
A friend also suggested perhaps a silver jewellery box & having that engraved. I was also thinking perhaps a personalised teddy...... (For some reason that doesnt seem 'as special' in my eyes though but i think would be a lovely gift!)
Any thoughts???
Or perhaps ideas of what shops / sites i could go to for a bit of a look?
Thank-you in advance for any help you may be able to give XxxxXMe 25

DD has a beautiful silver cross and chain with a name 'plate' from her godparents. It also has a silver safety pin as she was (and still is) a bit young to be able to wear the chain on its own

We got a beautiful gold bracelet with dd's name on it for her naming day. Also a beautiful silver necklace for when she is older to wear.
A lovely idea was a beautiful silver photo frame engraved and you could put a picture in it of you and hubby and the child you are going to be godparents to perhaps.

DD got a few gorgeous peices of jewellery for her Naming Day. SHe got a gold brooch with her name on, a silver baby bangle with a butterfly stamped into it, and a baby pandora...
I think if I was a "godparent" the pandora is a great idea cos you cacn add to it every birthday or christmas or whatever.. when she outgrows the baby, you can get a bigger one and just transfer the beads. Or of course a bigger one now thatshe can just wear when she's older.

Alphabracelets are another option - I have one and they are really nice. They make bracelets for babies and children too.

We got DD a bracelet like the alphabracelet. Don't wont about too many characters. My daughters name is only a letter less and it doesn't make it look too long. They are so tiny and beautiful and cost only a fraction of what a gold or silver engraved bracelet costs.
HA HA BEEN 26 FOR AWHILE NOW - SO LETS MAKE IT STILL UNDER 30

Thanks ladies, im going to be busy looking up these idea's

So far i have come across this bracelet (Was thinking could perhaps remove the cross and add a 'M' in place of it, then perhaps add the cross and also a butterfly to the clasp area where it does up..... Not too sure, but this is the bracelet: Godchild Bracelet by Gifted Memories best viewed if you click on the picture below the main picture (Although they are the same... for some reason the picture below opens up much bigger)
Also had this suggested to me: Pink Frosting Store - Beaded Silver Jewellery Box | Pink Frosting - Wedding Bomboniere Favors - Party Invitations - Baby Shower Decorations - Australia's No. 1 Wedding Online Shop With Maddison engraved on the top. Will be somewhere the bracelet can be stored and also comes in handy for any other pieces of jewellery she will get along the way.
While those suggestions are in the air i will go peek at the other suggestions
Thank-you ladies! xMe 25
