Panadol and early pregnancy
Just after some quick answers
Ive had a killer headache since last night- im 6.5 wks pregnant.
Do you think its ok to take some panadol or nurofen?
Which would be safer?
Thanks in advanceDS-Gruesome Twosome

Panadol is fine all the way through pregnancy but not Nurofen. Nurofen even says on the bottle not to take it

Hey manda!
I had headaches so much in the first 3 months. Panadol is fine to take in regulary... According to my Doc. She also said you can't really sleep a headache off so it's best to still take panadol.
Hope you're feeling better soon

I suffer killer migraines when PG (and when not PG
) and Drs and OBs were fine with me taking Panedine Extra/Plus (15mg of Codeine) and Mersyndol (night) strength tablets.
As PP have said Neurofen is a no no.

Panadol is fine just follow packet instructions. I suffer from severe migraines and have been taking panadine forte and 500mg asprin as last resort which my Ob has said is fine. he advised not to take anything with IBrufon (sp?) eg Nurofen, Advil or any anti inflamitory medicine.
Sending pain free vibes your way hun.....an ice pack on my forehead or back of neck usually helps relive th pain a little for me anyway

hope ur headache clears soon
nothing worse than sickness etc during prenancy and not being able to do squat about it! Hopefully the panadols keep up their good work for you.
