 High Blood Pressure
I have been dizzy for two days now. I went to the doctor and she checked my blood pressure. I had hypertension with first pregnancy. She said it was 138/95 is this High? she didnt do any other tests and I am seeing my OB tomorrow so she said tell him this reading. Is this why i have been dizzy?

The normal bp is 120/80 and i got told during pregnancy they dont like the bottom number to be over 90. So it is high and would most likely be whats causing ur dizzyness. just make sure u tell ur ob everything tomorrow. Take it easy and keep ur feet up.

Like JM said it is higher than the textbook normal of 120/80, though some people do have naturally higher blood pressure. Do you know what yours is normally? What is high for some people may not be high for others. Be guided by your ob. I think dizziness is usually associated with low blood pressure. I get dizzy when dehydrated- are you drinking a fair bit of water?

It is normally 127/77
