bleeding after baby!

hi ladies, not sure where to put this post so i choose here!
i had DD 3weeks ago yesterday and im still bleeding how long does the bleeding normally last after you have had a baby???
with DS i only had it for a week after. is it normal to bleed for this long??

Yep thats pretty normal! Anything up to 6 weeks is OK. If its still really heavy/clots etc then I'd go get it checked out but if its at a normal AF level then thats OK.

Yeah, thats normal. I didn't stop bleeding until about 6 weeks after I had DD.

Like the others have said, up to 6 weeks is normal. I bled for around 4-5 weeks after both my babies, it gradually got lighter until it stopped.

Yep, I bled for around 5-6 weeks after all of my babies. But was only fairly light for the last 2-3 weeks unless I overdid it.

ok great thanks heaps ladies, i have the odd clot here and there but its like a normal period. thanks for ur helps girls

totally normal. Mine lasted for 6 wks with DD1 and 7 wks with DD2. The obs wasn't concerned either time. Its just a pain having it
