Twin Mummy Expecting again!
Hi,
I am a proud Mummy to twin 5 year old boys and just found out we are expecting again. Excited and scared all at the same time! Surely it will be easier with one baby then 2! But add the 2 already in the mix it is going to be totally different! Anyone out there in a similar situation or with any thoughts?

Welcome and congrats!! I have almost 5 year old twin boys and am expecting a baby any day!! I've had one in between this one and the twins as well as one before my twins too!!
It is definitely SO much easier going from twins to a singleton and a very different experience, not always a happy one for me. It made me feel a lot of guilt when I thought about what my twins missed out on having to share me 24/7, it was hard to get my head around some days. But my counsellor once told me to remember that they (the twins) don't know any different....
Your boys being 5 already, I think they will do great with a new baby. All the best!!Me (34)

Thank you and WOW 5 kids?! How on earth do you do it!! The boys will be excited I think and your right they dont know any different and thats exactly what I tell people when they ask me what is it like having twins, well I have only had twins so I dont know what its like to have a singleton! At least with one baby I might be able to get shopping done without being stopped every 2 seconds to ask if they are twins, are the identical, they must keep your hands full and all those obvious questions people ask even if they can clearly see the answer LOL
