Great mat JB!

Kylie what a PITA. Enjoy your hair dressers appointment - new hair-do and some me time... perrrfect!!

Mel I'm in no hurry to turn J around, although he'll probably be 9kg in a month - still seems to little to me! (I think my seat may go to a higher weight though so if so will keep him backwards longer).

Bugger I hit quick reply and can't remember much....

So not much news from the specialist, the lab didn't do my extra blood work so I don't know which version (short term or forever) I'm dealing with.... Though she did say it's looking like forever (called Graves disease), but will have to see results to be sure. Also my soy milk I drink has been recalled coz of high iodine - and guess what that causes??? Thyriod problems!!... weird timing hey!?

So more importantly.....

Merry Christmas Ladies, Babies, Hubbies and Pets!!

Thankyou all for sharing such an amazing journey, and I hope everyone enjoys their first Christmas with the new additions!!

Husbands and Children, thanks for putting up with being neglected for an hour everyday (more or less!).

Have a great time and see you all in a couple of days.

xxx

Oh re the car seat questions, we turned Harrison around at about 9kgs and 8ish months. I won't be doing that again!

My reasoning was if we had an accident he would break his legs (they were touching the actual car seat), but I figure I would prefer a broken leg then a broken neck!
I will be leaving Annabelle until 'hopefully' 1. There is no need for them to be forward facing.

Check out google and you will see why! It scared the crap out of me~

Anik, wow Graves disease! Is that just controlled with meds? I have heard of it, but don't know too much about it! I wonder if your soy milk does have anything to do with it?

I am chasing up ebay.....I listed an item yesterday arvo and it sold so I sent through my banking details......to then get an email from ebay saying it was fraudulant and someone attempting identity theft!!!!! I am hoping my accounts are safe!

Well, the stockings are filled, the chrissie tree is surrounded by pressies, i have made ice-cream chrissie pud and brandy sauce to take tomorrow as well as a truckload of short-bread - i'm officially ready for christmas now!!

We came back from our beach holiday a day early - it was a bit of a disaster due to my older DD having a nasty virus - we only ended up going to the beach once .... ahh well them's the breaks!! It was 'kind of' nice to get away. Though my god, the effort to pack up the entire house and contents for the 5 of us was mammoth!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

Lou xx

ps ANik - how bizarre - i saw that on the news about that soy milk and I actually thought of you and wondered if the large amounts of iodine in it were enough to cause hyperthyroidism!! I had never seen that brand of soy milk till i saw it on the news. I think you should tell your specialist - it may well be a contributing factor depending on how much soy milk you drink

HOpe you all had a wonderful christmas and were able to spend the day with the ones we love!

WE had a super excited toddler running through the house in the morning, it was so priceless to see. I caught him on video as it was all happening, and it is something I will love looking back on for the rest of my life!

Nai, sorry you didn't get your chrissy wish! I really hope that they have a better new year!

Ok, well my house looks like a bomb site. There are things everywhere......I just need the motivation to do it!!!!

Anyway, have a great day all!
Kylie
