regardless of age, if she was wielding a weapon of some kind then fine. but a 10yo girl, and he had to taser her into submission? maybe he needs some re-training then.

My thoughts exactly Ally. I know little girls can be quite feral cows but I think he needs to find a new job if he can't take on his own 10 year old step daughter (which I read she was in another story - makes the story a bit more interesting huh).

As the mother of a son who has control issues I can honestly see how a 10 year old with similar problems can become so angry/upset that they are a danger to self and others. I don't condone the tazing but I have seen situations both at home and in the special school I used to work at where 10 or 11 year old kids have caused injuries to others in the fit of a temper tantrum and there has been no way to stop them as they're strengthened by adrenalin and anger. It's obvious from the comments this little girl has some issues.

At home I've had to resort to a cup of cold water to my sons face to snap him out of a tantrum in which he was actively trying to harm others and no one could get near him without being hurt. But tazeing? how could any mother suggest it is okay to use that on their child and this little girls mother obviously did. Still I won't judge as I wasn't there and I have totally experienced how strong a child can be when they are irrationally angry. (even a two year old trying to bite his baby sisters face...took two adults to pull him off and bubby lost large chunks of hair where she was being held by her brother...Honestly they seem to becomes obscenely strong when they are that out of it.)
