So I conceived on 3 August... By 'turkey baster method' due to diabetes related ED issues... FIRST ATTEMPT!

Did an early test 7 days after conception - negative result

Did two more tests on 16 August - POSITIVE!!!

I'm booked in to see my GP tomorrow morning for a blood test to confirm it for sure!!! His receptionist said he will have the results 3 hours after taking the blood!!!

I'm nervous, excited, anxious, petrified, relieved and anxious all at the same time!

I'm an aunty to more than 20 kids now (hubbies side & my side added) an that doesn't include all of my friends' kids who call me aunty... now its my turn!!!!! Mummy... I like the sound of that!

We've been wanting to start a family for a few years now, so I have already made a few decisions:

Genetic testing done 2 years ago due to family genetic disorder
Private hospital - unsure which one
C-section - due to injuries in a car accident
Yes to finding out the sex
Breast for a long as possible, even if it means expressed and bottle fed

OK I'm getting ahead of myself, I need to get he blood test done first!

Dunno how I'm going to keep this a secret for 3 months!!!
