Hi Tania,
welcome to this thread, it's great to have you in here to talk to as well! How exciting that you'll be TTCing again this year, I can't wait to hear how it all goes and I do hope it is a smooth ride for you.
Hi Kerry,
thanks for starting this new thread, we definitely need a new one, lol!
Congratulations on your new little princess!!!! What's her name and how big is she, etc? We need all the details!!! I'm so sorry she has heart problems, that must be so scary for you all. I hope you get some encouraging answers really soon.
I'll be 15 weeks tomorrow and I'm starting to feel a little better. More sleep and less heat would be nice, lol!
I better get my butt into gear and start getting all the kids stuff organized for school soon, they go back Wednesday. What about you guys, have yours started already? I'm sort of looking forward to the routine going back to normal, but I am going to miss my slow starts to the day.DH(Rob-46); Kathy(41)

Mine went back today. I have been cleaning up most of the day! The house gets such a mess when they are all home on holidays. I also have work tonight, so am trying to get everything done. Thats great you are 15 weeks along! have you had much morning sickness?? I did with my last 3 pregnancies, my first one I didnt have any. Hopefully I won't be to bad next time.

I am really looking forward to going through this house once they're all out the door, lol! It hasn't been too bad but it's really crumbling around the edges now, sigh! We haven't had a van for about 6 months now, so we can't all get out of the house which has made it a LOOOONG summer stuck at home. We put a paddling pool out the back and set it up really well for the kids and it has been great for wearing off energy. But the dirt that has come in, lol!!!! I had to keep telling myself, it's good dirt, it's better than them sitting in front of the telly all day!

But, yes, I'm going to appreciate them being back at school and for once they are looking forward to going back as well. Plus I'll be getting in 10kms of walking each day, that's gotta be a good thing! Except for the days when Karys has kindy half days for a few weeks. By the 4th week she'll be full days too, yay!
I've had quite a lot of m/s with this one but not as bad as last time, so I really appreciate that! It's mostly gone now and my energy levels are picking up at long last! I'm hoping to set up my own business from home once the kids are back at school, making maternity wear and some baby gear.
What work do you do Tania? Do you tag team with your hubby?
Last year I was fortunate to have a job for a few months making life rafts. I really enjoyed it and it gave me the confidence to think I can make a go of something I know I'm really going to enjoy too. It was hard to work out of home and I really couldn't keep up with everything, so I'm hoping I can actually be disciplined enough to work from home.
Best be off now, school supplies to purchase is top of my list. Better get out of my jammies, lol!DH(Rob-46); Kathy(41)

Hi Ladies
I thought I might poke my head in here too!!
I'm a mum to 4 challenging but gorgeous boys and we are currently TTC#5!! My oldest DS starts big school next Monday, which I'm excited about, but a bit worried about not if I will cry, but how much!! My twins have just gone from two to three days at daycare this year and my littliest man is starting one day a week on Wednesday!
Kath - We are old friends!
and
Tania - We share a mutual obsession!
So
Rainbowsend - Congratulations on your newest addition. I have seen you post over the years, so I look forward to chatting to you more. I hope your DD's heart problems aren't too serious.Me (34)

Hey again, I'm working casually as a kitchen hand at the moment, I have one set day a week and fill in when people go on holiday etc. I'm also studying so the casual work is pretty good because it fits around that. We don't have a car that fits everyone in anymore either, we are waiting til tax time this year to buy one, we used to have a 7 seater pajero, but we sold it after it started to cost money, so now if we all go anywhere we have to take 2 cars, so we have been spending heaps of time at home as well. We're looking at a Kia Carnival or a Chrysler Voyager.
Thats awesome about making maternity/baby wear! I'll buy some off you when I'm pg!
I have no maternity clothes at all any more. I didn't think we'd be having anymore, so I got rid of them all.

Hey Kath i found you yahhhh.
Hi to Tania and Hayles and welcome its been quiet for some time now we seem to be busy and alive for awhile then we die out for awhile too so hoping this is a new beginning for the room
Little miss is 4 weeks old on Wed and she is gorgous ( im not biased )
She was 3060kg when born and 46 cms long with a head of 35cms. We originally thought she had spina bifida but it seems she jsut has a large dimple in her back but we are still going to get an ultrasound to see whats below it .
As she didnt have her new born check in hospy when we did her one week check with my ob ( she was 2 weeks old by then ) it was found she has a servere heart murmour and the blood is certainly not going where it should and so we are waiting for an ECHO and a cardio appointment hopefully tomorrow at the childrens hospy in the city ( hour and 20 minutes away )
We are hoping the hole is in the bottom of the heart and can be fixed with meds otherwise we are off to Melbourne for an operation over there and a stay in RMH and being seperated from the 3 big ones as school adn kindy is back now .
So thats us for now and im looking forward to chatting about big family problems without the stupid comments that normally accompany them from others who have no idea about my daily lifeMe 36

3060kg!? That's a big bubba!

I do hope your little one is ok, and her heart can be fixed by meds, so she doesn't have to go through the op, poor little bub.
I don't want to sound nasty to m own kids, but gawd I'm happy school has gone back. I love them all to pieces, but I just can't keep the house clean when they are all home all the time.
