MB - Yeah I forgot to say that the cake is super awesome!
Tame - No the fabrics are just what I had available at home. I'm not happy about the head. I think I will have to glue on the cross stitching cos I can't figure out how to put them on without showing the knot or end of the thread. I ended up just sewing on the boots and not filling them up as DD wanted to hold it yesterday.
I'm just no good with instructions without pictures and I just itch to get things done so I miss important parts
Off to Playgroup this morning. Wish I could go to Spotty with you Tame! I want some new fabric. I need a new project...Mum - 33 DH - 33

oooo I am lovin the freya dolly she is adorbable

I am single but im not doing it all on my own (although the $ I get from my X is pitiful but I blame CSA for allocating such a stupid amount
oh and the X haahahaa)
we are co parenting so he sees the kids for about 2hrs 3 nights a week plus
has the kids most sat/sat night and sun unless he has to work
so I do alot of my sewing when the kids are at their dads ( or at night when they are snoozing as im sure you girls know its impossible to sew with kids around)
it helps keep me busy so I dont miss them so much

cant wait to see Harmony's outfit!

MB - good to hear you are getting a hand from your ex with the kids. It is great he is remaining such a stable figure in their lives.
Sewing - well i have some new things done - Zade has some new shorts here
and here
And Miss Harmony has new pants as modelled by her here (she has bed hair in the photo!!!!) and a top as modelled by our dining room floor here
I did manage to get to spotlight yesterday and all their clearance fabrics has a further 50% off so i got a few fabrics for $2 and $2.50 a metre! Also got 2 new patterns as they had buy one get one free plus 10% off. Trying to figure what i will try and make next. Maybe i should do something for me!!!! hee heee.
