My fave would be apple crumble but for a quick afternoon snack we sometimes make little apple pastries

Its just puff pastry brushed with some melted butter, thinly sliced apples on top and have a srpinkling of sugar and cinamon over the top and then cooked in the oven until brown

So yummy warm with cream!

My kids love pureed apple plain too

Apple, cheese and celery salad - my granny's recipe and a HUGE hit with friends at BBQ's.

Cut up a granny smith apple into tiny cubes (just smaller than a pea)
Cut up celery into same size pieces (use same amount as apple)
Cut up Kraft cheddar cheese (the one in the blue box sold near vegemite in the supermarket) into same size pieces but only use half as much as apple.

Put in a bowl and mix with some mayo, no exact amount, just enough to cover/moisten the mixture.

It is a little time consuming but the more you make it the quicker you get at it. I promise you, you will love it!!!!!!!!
