Ran out of eggs can I use something else for baking
Ok quick question I am in the middle of baking some banana muffins and peanut butter cookies but I have just discovered we have ran out of eggs.....
Question is there anything else I can use that will kinda do the same thing as an egg I am assuming the egg is needed to keep the ingredients together????
Hope there are some experienced bakers out there my guests are due to arrive at 11am so don't have time to run down the shops

Eggs can be substitued by either a 1/4 cup of apple sauce or mashed bananna, plus 2 tsp oil, per egg.
I'm not sure how that will work in the bananna muffins - might make them a bit too "fruity", but should be fine for the cookies!
I hope that helps
