About a week ago , but only because I didn't think about them, lol. They're great for fine motor skills, too.

We waited until 6 months. Most babies are ready for finger foods by then, so you forget about purees. Avocado first, then around the same time, she was sitting on my knee while I was eating a banana, next thing I know shes got the whole thing in her mouth, now thats BLW! I make/bake all my family's food, so I know what's in it, so pretty much anything that is age appropriate as far as ingredients, yeah no, no nuts or honey kind of thing. I just put what ever we're having in front of her, if she's interested, she'll eat it. And just a note, she only has 4 teeth, but does fine with most things.

I remembered a few other foods! Egg yolk omelet with cheese, pancakes, and mushed baked beans spread on toast with a bit of cheese.

I'm also doing BLW with my 7 month old. He isn't too interested yet; he doesn't really know what to do with the food once he gets it in his mouth. He does alot of licking and sucking on foods, and then mushes it into his high chair tray.
So far, we've offered pumpkin, sweet potato, zucchini, carrot, potato, green beans, roast lamb, watermelon, apple.

Question Question....?

Well if this is going to be our BLW chat thread, I'll ask in here rather than starting a new thread...

How long do you give your baby to eat before you start cleaning up? Noah isn't really eating intently yet, so I can't really tell when he's 'had enough', because he mostly just mucks around the whole time, yk?

Thanks.

We all eat at the same time, so I give her about the same length of time as Zane + my clean up time.
