Evening
I am 6w 5d and suffering with hayfever. DH went to the pharmacy and came back with phenergan. I know I should trust the Pharmacist but is it safe? The box says to avoid in pregnancy. Ive googled it but the answers are mixed. Thoughts??

Thanks!!

I am a student midwife studying at ACU. I am a mother to a 2 year old and I loved the continuous support that I received during my pregnancy and through the birth of my daughter. I have previously been employed at The Royal Women's Hospital as a midwifery cadet and have experience over a range of areas including birth support, Neonatal Intensive and Special Care, childbirth education, antenatal clinic and postnatal care.

As part of my studies, I am required to follow 20 women through their pregnancy and postnatal period. If you decide that you are interested in participating in the program, you are able to decide what areas you would be comfortable with me following such as antenatal appointments, the birth of your baby, or simply catching up to see how you are feeling through the important experience in your life.

If you are over 12 weeks and under 35 weeks and would like to participate, send me an email or text message. I look forward to hearing from you.

What does the program include?

The Continuity of Care Experience involves an ongoing midwifery relationship between the student and woman. Ideally, it includes at least 2 antenatal appointments and contact 4-6 weeks after the birth. As you get to know me, you may wish to invite me to the birth to support you and your partner.

Your privacy and confidentiality is maintained at all times.

If you would like more information about this program, you can contact me.

Eight months pregnant and so uncomfortable - normal?

I am 36 weeks pregnant and incredibly uncomfortable. This is my second baby but I don't remember having been this uncomfortable in my first pregnancy. While lots of women around me say they know how I feel, I wonder if this level of discomfort really is normal?

My back is constantly sore and sometimes when I go to bed the day has taken its toll so much that I can barely move.
My sleep is disturbed due to anxiety about the birth, discomfort and getting up four times every night to use the toilet.
I am dizzy and having trouble concentrating.
I am tired and have to nap every day.
I am sooo grumpy and also seem to overreact to everything, usually by crying.
My pelvis is really sore and it feels like I have already squeezed a baby out from between my legs due to soreness.
My nose is constantly running.

What I'd like to know is, is this all normal? Sorry if I sound a bit whingy - I just want to ensure that I have covered everything.

Thanks for reading!
