Ok, so after a huge dispute with Telstra, my Dad wants to get his contract cancelled. He will be dealing with the TIO on this.

BUT, he wants to keep his mobile number as he has had it for years and brought it over to Telstra recently. I am under the impression that once he signed into that contract, Telstra put a claim on that mobile number, and he can't just put it back to his pre-paid service.

Is there any way around this? he doesn't want to be on a plan with anyone again, he wants to go back to pre-paid, and really needs his number to stay with him.

*He was originally with Optus pre-paid, and went to Telstra pre-paid, bringing the number with him. He then signed up to a Telstra plan and brought the number to that aswell.

Ok we are going to be changing our internet and phone providers. Currently we are with Telstra/Bigpond and frankly i'm getting sick of their service and paying through the nose and not getting any warnings when our download limit has been reached. We currently our ADSL with telstra is at the highest speed being 20000/1000 with 60gig download a month (yes we download a fair bit, hubby being computer tech) and at $160 a month . My mobile is another thing, i'm on their $49 cap (being the cheapest) and I never use no where near enough so it's time to change with someone else and save some $$. What is Dodo like, are they helpful and have you had any problems with them. We are looking into the naked adsl2+ but I'm not sure if you can use that voip with it?? Their mobile plans seem ok too.

Hi All,

I have a few little micro SD cards and I was wondering if anyone knew how I could label them and if there were any little cases you could buy which could store a few? You can't write on them and they are too thin for labels. Any ideas?

TIA :001_smile:

I begin printing a document, it's going along fine, and then suddenly the text goes into gobbledigook. I had it happen on my mums printer, and I JUST bought a new printer today and it's happening again!!!

It's more than frustrating, and I've never had any problems before like this. I am seriously going to throw a tanty as I can't even print out my assignment witout having to do it one or two pages at a time.

Grrrrr.
