I have always said that I wanted either 2 or 4 (I came from a family of 3 and suffered from middle child syndrome so never wanted 3 ) After having my first two in a previous marriage I said that's it, due maialy to a lot of birth and post-birth complications with my second bubba. After getting divorced however I knew if I met the right person I would want to have babies with him and create little versions of 'us' ...and so decided that I will go for 4 (but opt for the c-section due to the issues that I had). I currently have the man and my two little boys, and will be having two more babies sometime hopefully in the not-too-distant future

I didn't want any then DD graced us with her presence and then we revised and said 2. We had our DS and the shop is definitely shut, I have no desire to have more and after complicated pregnancies I don't think it would be good for me or any future babies to try again. I absolutely adore the 2 I have though and wouldn't trade them for the world

we wanted 4. After two we seriously doubted going back for more simply because he has been such a handful sleep wise and behaviour wise and health wise. but now its all settling down and we are enjoying parenting him more, plans for No 3 are incoming

We wanted 8 kids when we got married.
After the 4th, I was told I would need to go thru IVF if we wanted any more, due to health issues. We felt we were blessed to get the ones we had and learned to be content with what we had.
Then we learned that drs don't know everything, lol!
We will keep going until they stop coming. If 10 is all we get, we're ecstatic!

But we don't feel like everyone's here yet.

Oh Kathy, I love your attitude! It is awesome

When I was younger I always said I wanted 6 kids. Then as I grew older that number started to drop! Before DS came along DH wasn't that into the idea of kids. He wanted to eventually, but never felt like he was ready - nothing like an oopsy pregnancy to make you ready! At teh end of the pregnancy when I was complaining so much about being pregnant (SPD and 2 weeks overdue!) DH started going on about how once the baby was born I would forget all about it and be pestering him for another baby within 2 weeks. A week after DS was born, HE started talking about the next baby!! I told him to eff off.

We have talked about having two, but at the mo I am pretty happy with just Mr Theo. Saying that loads of friends have been having babies recently and the newborns have stirred some broodiness that I thought had disappeared!

If we do have number two, it wont be until Theo is at least 3.

We had always agreed on 3 and we currently have 3 but my heart tells me we aren't done yet. Im thinking that there is possibly a 4th baby to join our family but im also considering putting the first 2 back where they came from right now.

I want two but have one. Considering I should have never had the first I am so blessed to have DS. However DP defiantly does not another, so one it is.

I want 3 just had my first! DP told me the other day is we could afford it he'd want 8! I told him he'll need to find someone else to give him the last 4-5!!
But I think we've settled on three although I'm willing to go to 4 at this point! Guess we'll just have to see

I was like Punk, I never really planned on having children at all, it didnt happen with my ex husband in 6 yrs of no contraception. I separated at 32 so the thought still didnt really enter into what I wanted in a new relationship. DP already had a 2yo son when we met and had 50/50 custody... then I found out I was pregnant with DD (pretty much unplanned as DP and I were fairly sure I couldnt have children)

When I thought about kids at all I always imagined having 2... after the complications for me of DDs birth and the potential risks of pregnancy for me my family with DP is complete (DP has had a vasectomy). I wouldnt change having DD for the world but also consider the impact of another child (full sibling) on DSS because he has been part of our relationship for so long.
