I always wanted 3, and now I have 3. And I'm happy with that.

When DH and i got together we said 4, but i still want at least one more- i would have another 2 or 3 if we could afford it.

Still trying to convince DH to go again

Hi,

DH and I always said 2 but after falling pregnant for a 3rd time which resulted in a m/c. He agreed to try for another. Which I'm currently baking at the moment. (Due Mid May 2010) This will be our last child.

Well DH is an only child and i am one of 2 and we both hated it so we settled on 3, although i secretly think 4 is a good number too

ETA - We currently have two but are planning on ttc number 3 soon.

Interesting - it seems that most of you have ended up with the number that you wanted before you 'started'. I'll never get my 4 because DH only wants 2, but we'll see what happens

I never wanted any

Now I have one!

I wouldn't change him for the world and I don't regret having him.... But i certainly don't want any more.
I did go through a stage thinking one more - but over it now

None. I never wanted kids. Then when DD came, I just knew she was going to change my life. Then I didn't want anymore kids after her, and now I am 35 weeks pregnant!!

I'm a sucka, just keep going back for more!!

Before we knew we had fertility issues, we always said ideally 2 ( pigeon pair ), but if the 1st 2 were the same then we'd have 3 but stop at 3 regardless.

After our girls we'd decided they were it. My head knew it was the right decision but it took a while for my heart to catch up.

Just when I thought I was finally coming to peace with our decision, I found out that I was blessed with our Gumnut. My head's screaming "HELP" !! But my heart is ecstatic

I always wanted 3. Currently I have 1 and 1 on the way. I have been thinking that this is it. Though I really don't know. I just asked DH if we could have as many children as he wanted how many would he want... his response was...

'Because of my age, I would say 1 more (after this one baking) but otherwise just keep popping'

He already has 2 from a previous marriage.
