DD just put a Tic Tac up her nose!

God knows where she got them from, but I just caught DD eating some Tic Tacs. She then told me that she put one up her nose. I looked and there was a half sucked Tic Tac. I tried to get it with some tweasers but couldn't. As I leant over to get a tissue, DD shoved her finger up her nose and now I can't see the Tic Tac! She says it hasn't come out, but doesn't hurt.

I'm kinda hoping it'll just dissolve or come out when she blows her nose again

Nope, it's gone! Can't see or feel it. I'm wondering whether it's come out and we've not noticed. She seems fine. It's a strong minty one, so I'm sure she'd be in pain if it was still up there, they "burn" your mouth when you eat them, so it's bound to hurt your nose.

My DD did this recently but I managed to block the other nostril and get her to blow it out. Ewww. Anywho at the time I did some research that said it could just come out another "shoot" like those gross circus performers who drink milk and stuff from their noses but it can also get stuck in the sinuses and cause problems, so a trip to the Dr could be a good idea? Better to be safe than sorry?

lol sorry but kids can be darlings! it's amazing the things they do. If she can't feel it up there then i wouldn't worry too much as it's probably passed down her throat. Keep an eye on her thought but i wouldn't worry, if she can still breath and is not in paid it should be ok.

Got it! Her nose was running so I got her to blow it and it came out. Phew! At least it wasn't a huge stone like last year

Good news LOL when you got up this morning I bet you didnt think you'd be so interested in your DD's boogeys and checking to see whats in them!
