Just a little thing from my Little One this morning

This is his second week of school and usually he is pretty independant, just telling me to go so he can play with his friends from kindy who started at the same time. But this morning he wanted to show me around before the bell rang, then when saying goodbye he insisted on kissing me and I kissed his forehead back, then he pulled me down to whisper in my ear and ask if he could have 'lots of kisses' which usually means lots on his face then going down to his neck playful nibbling style which tickles him PMSL
um not in the classroom! so I just gave him another couple on the head. He wont be asking for kisses at school much longer I am sure!

Awww, gorgeous one girls. Loving those beautiful shots of your little ones Martina, and Kahlia, what a lovely boy you have there. I love the affection our little ones ask of us, and bestow upon us. I love it when my daughter's hand creeps in to hold mine while we're watching TV, or the way we never leave a room without saying "love you". It really is the little things that make a big difference isn't it?

Day two: Smile at a stranger. I must admit, I do this all the time - can't help myself. But today I'm going to challenge myself and not just smile at someone who looks like they'll respond - but someone who looks like they need it.

Day 2: Smile at a stranger:
Since my husband and I have moved interstate we're in the process of making some new friends (to add to the awesome friends we already have here!). I've been hoping to make friends with some Kinder mums and today I took the plunge and smiled at one of the other mums. She smiled back and asked me how I was and so on....we ended up chatting for about half an hour. It was great and has been a wonderful start to my day ♥

Uh oh, I've got a bit of catching up to do. Okay:
Day 3: I pulled out one of my old favourites and offered to return a mum's trolley after she'd loaded her groceries. If you're elderly, or have kids with you, unless I'm in a HUGE hurry I'll always return your trolley.
Day 4: Treat yourself. Well, I went to the movies with a friend AND THEN I bought the soundtrack on iTunes as I loved it so much (doubly spoilt!)
Day 5: Notice nature. I hadn't been going for a walk or bike-ride after work and I really missed it, so I jumped on my bike and rode around my suburb. As I rode home I gazed at the most glorious sunset - it was divine.
Day 6: Oh, childhood fave - my fave part of the challenge so far. Ice cream with milo sprinkled on top - yum!
Day 7: I found a gorgeous card and sent it to a friend who I've been meaning to call for yonks. But I'm always busy, or she's always busy...
Day 8: Indulge in a classic. Tonight shall be John Hughes night where I shall watch Pretty In Pink. Hurrah!

I need to update mine too!
Day 3: Random act of kindness. I wasn't out much yesterday so didn't interact with many people. But my random act was buying hubby one of his (and mine!) favourite chocolate bars. I actually thought of buying it for him rather than myself
. He really enjoyed it and it was great watching him - even if he did rub it in a little that he had chocolate and I didn't :P ♥
Day 4: Treat yourself. I don't get to do this nearly as often as I'd like so to treat myself today I had a super-yummy coffee. And I got to drink it while it was still hot - WINNING!!

Day 5: Notice nature....bit hard not to notice that it was raining again!

Day 6: Indulge in a childhood favourite....Ice Magic. Can life get any better?

Day 7: pen a letter to an old friend....This was a very dear friend from high school that I haven't had the opportunity to speak to for a few years now. Today's theme gave me the perfect reason to get in touch with her
.

Day 8 - Get classic: Dig out an old CD or movie that brings back memories...I'm going to sit down at lunchtime and watch this movie today. Can you guess what it is? When I first watched it when I was about 10 years old - it scared the bejeebus out of me!! And just quietly - it still does!

Day 9: Beautiful bumps. Here's my 3rd baby bump at 38+3wks. He's now a little 2yo terror ;-) who is also the apple of my eye ♥

Nice little list :-) most of it ought to just be our way of life I think. Such as celebrating our children, checking in on elderly relatives and performing selfless acts. I think they are more to do with the character of a person than anything else and shouldn't just be a "to-do this month" thing. But the other things like "treat yourself" is for sure something u have to remember to do... I think I'll do just that right now... Ohh chocolate .... Come hereeee... Lol
